Death of a Socialist, North Korea and ObamaCare

Roger EbertRoger Ebert died on April 4th, 2013. He wrote for the Chicago Sun-Times and most people remember him as a snobbish film critic on the television show – At the Movies with Gene Siskel. But I remember him as a liberal-progressive socialist often referring to films and conservatism as “fascism”. He put down the Bruce Willis action film Die Hard, but hailed Speed 2: Cruise Control that was an embrace goofiness with an almost sensual pleasure. Let’s face it, the guy was not only a socialist, but a weirdo.

However, he was raised a Roman Catholic, so he would put down films that insulted Christianity and at the same time controversial films like praised films like The Last Temptation of Christ and religious satire Dogma. Ebert identified himself as an agnostic. Frankly, one got the feeling he wasn’t sure what he was or came from. I wonder what he thought about as he lay dying of cancer.

He did however criticize the Motion Picture Association of America Film Rating regarding movies they stated were suitable for children.

Ebert became a recovering alcoholic in 1979 when became a member of Alcoholics Anonymous and wrote some posts on his blog about it.

He was a fanatic supporter of the Democratic Party and urged Michael Moore to give a political speech at the Academy Awards.

Barack Hussein Obama, who failed to acknowledge the war sniper hero, Chris Kyle, tragically killed by a fellow veteran he was attempting to help and even allowed no recognition on the day of the hero’s funeral made it a point to issue a statement concerning progressive socialist Roger Ebert:

Michelle and I are saddened to hear about the passing of Roger Ebert.  For a generation of Americans – and especially Chicagoans – Roger was the movies.  When he didn’t like a film, he was honest; when he did, he was effusive – capturing the unique power of the movies to take us somewhere magical. Even amidst his own battles with cancer, Roger was as productive as he was resilient – continuing to share his passion and perspective with the world.  The movies won’t be the same without Roger, and our thoughts and prayers are with Chaz and the rest of the Ebert family.

In the Obama world, patriots and heroes are ignored and thrown under the bus while fellow socialists are recognized and praised. A decorated Navy SEAL who served his country and a person who made a living criticizing, never serving one day for his country. Roger Ebert may have been a popular critic to some in his circle, indeed he won a Pulitzer – but looking at those standards like the Nobel Prize [Al Gore for his global warming farce] and Academy Awards [Michael Moore and Al Gore for their lying documentaries], that isn’t really saying much. Roger Ebert was just an overweight movie buff, sitting around eating popcorn and watching films for a living; while Chris Kyle put his life on the line and was credited for killing 160 bad people in Iraq.

SFC Mac at The Foxhole was more critical, of which some I will not repeat here:

… He stopped being a credible movie critic years ago. He was a bilious crank who vented his spleen with epithets and venomous comments toward people he didn’t like—mostly people who spoke out against leftwing malfeasance. Just a few samples of his incomparable vitriol:

Calling Tea Party patriots “teabaggers”.

Comparing Arizona’s enforcement of immigration laws to the Holocaust.

Joking about Rush Limbaugh’s hospital stay for a heart condition.

Disrespecting high school students who wore American flag T-shirts.

Making the asinine comment that the Second Amendment was ratified to “preserve slavery”.

Calling Sarah Palin “Hitler” and insulting Americans who oppose the construction of the Ground Zero mosque by radical Muslim zealots.

Well, no one can say that SFC Mac doesn’t tell it like it is; it is just that he is not kind or diplomatic about it. He’s angry, like many of Americans, of how it has been allowed that people like Obama become a president and Congress is filled with progressive socialists and RINOs – and the United States ranks in the 20s in education and many other areas of society and the too many in the newer generation has become spoiled welfare brats. One even said to me, in a Wal-Mart parking lot in Green bay, that she hoped I died soon so she would not have to keep paying for my social security. I replied I have paid for social security since I was sixteen. I wanted to ask her if she was on some government program that I was paying for, but was not in the mood to talk to a mentally disturbed person. After all, she only knows what was indoctrinated by government controlled school system and the corporate media who repeat without question lies and misconceptions by politicians and union thugs.

hand_point2– Meanwhile, the Department of Defense just released an announcement for IMMEDIATE RELEASE that the DOD will deploy a Terminal High Altitude Defense System (THAAD) ballistic missile defense system to Guam in the coming weeks as a precaution against the aggressive posturing of North Korea’s fat, childish rogue despot. [Released on April 3rd, 2013, News Release No. 208-13.

hand_point2– And, ObamaCare will provide millions of dollars in grants to hire community activists, like Obama was, and his favorite organization ACORN. Payment courtesy of guess who, after being promised that ObamaCare will make health care more affordable. Yep, the losers who voted for Obama the second time, the ones who had signs in the front yard: OBAMA THEN, OBAMA NOW are going to see, if they haven’t already noticed what Obamanomics will do to their take-home pay and that does not include the penalties imposed by the IRS for not complying. Yep, over 65 million Americans sure picked a winner in 2008 and again in 2012, and will probably choose another corrupt and unconstitutional person like Hillary Clinton in 2016; unless miraculously enough Americans wake up as to how far away from the successful constitutional republic we have drifted from.
