Fall of the Republic: Do You Realize How Many Rights and Liberties Have Been Lost or Weakened Thus Far?

preamble_to_the_united_states_constitution1Americans have been steadily losing their property rights, one of the key elements of the US Constitution and its amendments, deemed important to the Founders because of tyranny experienced under British rule.

Thomas Jefferson, 1788:

It astonishes me to find … that so many of our countrymen … should be contented to live under a system which leaves to their governors the power of taking from them the trial by jury cases, freedom of religion, freedom of press, freedom of commerce, the habeas corpus laws, and of yoking them with a standing army. This is a degeneracy in the principles of liberty … which I would not have expected for at least four centuries.

When the US Constitution was drafted, approved and finally ratified by the states of the Union, it was assumed that the description of specific powers granted to the government would leave no doubt, as to what the government could do and could not. The absence of powers over the rights of the people should have kept them protected. The Founders decided to be specific and add to the Constitution ten amendments to declare the Bill of Rights. The Constitution details the powers authorized by the federal and state governments and the Bill of Rights is a guarantee of those rights as part of the US Constitution.

Information Highway: April 21st, 2013 – Legislation, Congress, and Taxation

hand_point2Fairfax, Virginia – On April 8th, 2013, PoliceOne, an online law enforcement magazine blew the Obama and company’s claim that most of thedumb-and-dumber law enforcement officers across the nation were in favor of the Manchin-Toomey-Schumer Senate bill [S.22] that did not achieve majority votes to pass. The law enforcement website did this with a Gun Policy & Law Enforcement Survey conducted between March 4th and March 13th, 2013. Verified police professionals of different ranks and department sizes responded with a total of 15,595 filling out the survey, either currently active officers [76.2%] or retired officers [18.7%] with 5.2% neither active or retired. The department sizes ran from 1-25 personnel [18.1%] to over 1000 [19.3%]. It shows that law enforcement officers do not support President Obama’s gun control agenda or that of his political associates like Feinstein, Boxer, Menendez, Coons, Cardin, Blumenthal, Gillibrand, Wyden, Reed, Carper, Schumer, Cardin, and Mr. Whitehouse whose constituents need to replace in the next election. It was named the Gun Show Background Check Act of 2013 that required registration of Gun Show Promoters with the Attorney General [“Fast-N-Furious”] and included background checks [only criminal background, mental health not included] and would have made it illegal to transfer a firearm to a family member. [Sec. 932]

From My Desk: An Easter Message

ESJS_027Tomorrow is Good Friday, a very special day for Christianity, a prelude before Easter Day that commemorates the victory of Jesus Christ against death. It is a tradition for Christians to attend mass and churches to remember what the founder of Christianity represents and the covenant with God.

Adore God. Reverence and cherish your parents. Love your neighbor as yourself, and your country more than yourself. Be just. Be true. Murmur not at the ways of Providence.
Thomas Jefferson

Those who are not Christians use the day to gather with family for a traditional feast enjoying the unity of the family nucleus, an entity that has slowly disintegrated in the society of the United States.

In a speech given by Ronald Reagan in the following video, he stated:

I have said that we must be cautious claiming that God is on our side. I think the real question we must answer is: Are we on His side?

China: The Sleeping or Pretending To Sleep Dragon and Obama

Defend ConstitutionPutting all the recent mass shooting together and into prospective, the final analysis is: the federal and state governments (and municipalities) is the underlying cause that no one at Sandy Hook school was afforded the opportunity to defend themselves, despite a heroic moment when the school’s principal tried to disarm the lunatic assailant without being armed. It failed and little children died. The same federal government who let the same firearms they intend to take away from law-abiding citizens for defense (158 banned firearms that include pistols, rifles, and shotguns), be taken across our southern border (whose security fence system is still not completed after being approved during GW Bush administration) in the hands of drug cartels and criminals. That fiasco program was called Fast and Furious and the Attorney General responsible (Eric Holder) still has his job.

A second case against the federal government under questionable reasons why it continues to assault the inalienable rights of the Second Amendment is that this White House administration is responsible for the deaths of Americans at Benghazi. As the following video of a news broadcast reveals, investigators have had trouble getting cooperation from Obama and associates; unlike Reagan who dealt with the Iran-Contra Affair immediately as soon as it was discovered.

Memo to Mitt Romney and Members of Congress

The importance of who is serving in Congress is just as important as who serves as President. Too often, politicians brainwash Americans in that it is solely the president’s fault for what goes wrong in government – leaving themselves off the hook. Not true.
If Mr. Romney sticks to principles and the Constitution of the United States, he can achieve what no other president has since Ronald Reagan, and even he could not achieve all he wanted because of the People and Congress. The people, who did not understand the importance of not having a big government, and Congress, ignoring the important issues that would reinstate America as a Jeffersonian republic.
It is obvious that BH Obama and friends cannot and will not do what needs to be done to get America back on track. Thus, the ball is in the court of the GOP establishment’s pick: you, Mr. Romney.

If Mitt Romney can, with the help of Congress:

  • Increase access to domestic energy resources, reducing drastically foreign oil need.
  • Streamline the permitting process for energy exploration and development.
  • Eliminate regulations destroying America’s coal industry.
  • Approve the Keystone XL pipeline.
  • Remove the parasitical trade unions from government employment and consolidate federal agencies, dissolve some, and align compensation of federal workers with same jobs of the private sector.
  • Provide more effective educational institutions by reducing federal government control.
  • Focus upon job training programs that are in alignment with available opportunities that will reduce the number of Americans on welfare.
  • Reduce the amount of illegal immigrants taking employment from American citizens as well as securing our national border.
  • Stop unfair trade practices of countries like China and reduce debt to those countries by reducing government spending and improving fair marketing and fair trade, as well as getting a handle on the powerful Federal Reserve banking cartel.
  • Open new markets by reducing obtrusive and unfair trade practices for American goods and services.
  • Return free enterprise and encourage return of Reaganomics.
  • Reduce non-discretionary spending.
  • Cap and force government budgeting.
  • Reduce taxes and reform system drastically via individual and corporate tax reform as a flat tax with no deductions or a consumption flat tax that leaves income earned to the privacy and liberty of the individual.
  • Repeal ObamaCare and consider a viable alternative in terms of regulations and catering to special interest, rather than We the People. An alternate system would supposedly cost less, but still be in control of the government; which the Constitution does not allow.
  • Return private property rights and never allow eminent domain to be abused ever again.
  • Stop the red tape and remove government from private sector that is under the limitations of power by the Constitution of the United States.
  • Reduce the need of military presence in other countries, close down a portion of overseas bases without reducing America’s ability to react to any aggression. However, Mr. Reagan established that there is peace through strength – it also means we cannot be distrustful to our true allies.
  • Reduce foreign aid and only keep that which helps other nations who suffer from natural disaster, not self-inflicted economic wounds.
  • Request that Congress review its regulations and legislation and that all future legislation be passed only after being examined for its constitutionality.
  • Demand that Congress do what it expects from the office of the President of the United States and reduce congressional terms to a limit of two consecutive terms and that no elected official in government receiving any retirement benefits or compensation other than yearly salary while holding political office.
  • Delegate issues to state governments such as marriage issues and abortion; no more federal funding of government controlled abortion clinics and programs.
  • Choose truly constitutionally-minded judges as justices, not an arm of the political establishment in Congress and the White House. The Constitution need not be “interpreted” or compared to foreign laws, but applied to what it means and why articles and amendments were created according to the Federalist Papers and the language within the Constitution.
  • Find a way to encourage the media to be objective and unbiased without government control or transgression of freedom of speech. Let the media know that the “innocent until proven guilty” clause exists for a reason. Encourage journalistic educational institutions to instill a code of ethics for journalism that ensures accurate and truthful reporting instead of bias and manipulative use of the media.
  • Dissolved the “hate crime” laws and encourage state governments to do the same, thereby the judiciary will focus on the alleged crime and not what a person thinks or believes.
  • Reduce or dissolve the agency using taxpayer funding for National Endowment for the Arts – which should not be the concern of federal government, but funding from private sector support and charity.
  • Work at dissolving HUD or a complete reform with far less expenditure, for its not government power to provide dwellings at taxpayer expense.
It is harder to correct mistakes and bad policies than it is to provide preventive measures. These reforms will take a long time because our nation has moved away from its original republican purpose for a long period.  It is time to seek results because the finger pointing stage of the arguments, thoroughly addressed over several decades. The American people do not want finger pointing, but results; because the fault lies in both sides of the political aisle even though it is different levels from political entities. The American people already know there is a serious problem with our federal government, as well as some state governments – it is time to find a viable solution and return to a constitutional republic for which our nation was created.
Compromise cannot be tolerated when it comes to the Constitution of the United States and its amendments. We must remember that the Declaration of Independence was a prelude to the Constitution and the Constitution is never outdated because its articles can be applied to changing situations.

RINO Romney: Choosing the Lesser Evil

The GOP establishment has pushed for RINO candidates in the primary election and the left-leaning was willing to play along. Why not? The top choice of the GOP establishment was Mitt Romney who calls himself a “moderate” Republican. But the Tea Party movement knows better and anyone else who has done any reasonable amount of research on this millionaire politician and former governor of Massachusetts (Taxachusetts).
In 1980, George H. Bush made an argument against Ronald Reagan that Mitt Romney is making in 2012 – that he was the most electable.

The Good Old Boy establishment of the GOP was behind Bush because they thought Reagan was “too radical” to win the election; like people say about Ron Paul. They feared the defeat they got when Barry Goldwaterlost. Goldwater wasn’t radical, he just plain told the truth and saw the dangers of overspending and Big Government and the establishment nor the left-controlled media wouldn’t stand for that sort of thing – and believed in constitutional law.
The establishment also had its misgivings about John McCain, but he didn’t win because the public was aware that he was a RINO. John McCain didn’t make friends when he turned his back on fellow veterans in several pieces of legislation in Congress.
But Reagan persevered and campaigned with ideas of pro-growth, supply-side economy and just plain common sense speeches – promises he kept. He didn’t brag or make stupid speeches that were contrary to his previous policy record – like Mitt Romney. His honesty worked and Reagan swept through the nomination process and the rest is history.
The election results of the real world and the support of primary delegates, and not the painted one by the media, is what helped Reagan win. He went on to serve two terms and even most left-controlled media liked him. He kept a smile when asked stupid questions from reporters and those who tried to trip him up into saying something that could be construed as something else. Romney is going to lose in that respect, and I am not talking about the primary election.
If Romney makes it through this convention with no surprises that someone else is chosen, America’s only hope is that a responsible candidate will run as an independent against both Romney and Obama. Or do Americans have to choose the “lesser evil” again?
Newt Gingrich is a knowledgeable and eloquent speaker and can withstand any intense debate, answering them with one-liner quirky rhetoric. He was trying to imitate Reagan’s style and even claimed his policies were comparable. But despite Gingrich’s campaign rhetoric of being against the establishment, his past record of sidling up to the political enemies and those who do not stand for individualism and constitutional law showed that he was just as much a RINO as Romney and Rick Santorum
Ron Paul is a maverick, but his major problem is that he is too much of a perfectionist and people fear his overbearing Libertarian ideology.  But he is sincere, honest, and his record is squeaky clean and he stands by his principles. The media and the GOP establishment worked together to make look the fool. His game is not over because he is winning delegates. He has not given up nor has he lost yet against the fight against the GOP establishment and the Obama-owned media.
The GOP establishment should be worried – Ron Paul is picking up delegates.
Newt Gingrich is a good idea man, however; and he was the chief architect for Contract With America that the American people thought the Republican Party believed enough in to actually follow its fine points. Mitt Romney refused to sign it. He stated:
In my view, it is not a good idea to go into a contract, like what was organized by the Republican Party in Washington, laying out a whole series of things that they party says ‘these are the things we are going to do’. I think that’s a mistake”.
It was a mistake because Romney doesn’t believe that campaign promises should not be put in writing – it is easy reference for voters with short memories. Politicians like it when voters don’t remember things politicians do in the past when they seek election or reelection.
The Contract With America was what allowed the Republicans to become the majority of Congress in 1994. Romney was one of the few Republicans to lose an election that year.
Today, Mitt Romney is making the same mistake by promising not to take America back to the pro-growth years of Reagan and his Reaganomics. The man just doesn’t have common sense or learns from past mistakes. However, he will change his policies, not for good reasons, but just what he thinks people want to hear. You can see this when he sucks up to the people of every state he wants votes out of; often making plainly that he is not sincere, and sometimes just plain lies.
Reagan cut taxes across the spectrum of tax rates and even attempted to rid the income tax system of the progressive tax rate nonsense, but did not propose a flat tax – maybe it wasn’t thought of yet. History shows us that when taxes are cut, especially for middle class working folks, it promotes jobs, produces higher wages (which edges against cost of living difference), and allows the achievement of personal, individual prosperity.

Collectivism, unlike individualism, does not promote prosperity. It is true that all men(and women) are created equal, but not all CAN be equal when it comes to wages and prosperity – and for a myriad of reasons, like levels of education and work attitudes.

Romney is a millionaire who pays less of a percentage in income taxes than other Americans making less. Who is going to believe him when he stands up and argues against Obama’s neo-Marxist class warfare arguments concerning equal taxation or any related argument? Few. Only people like Ann Coulter, who used to be a conservative crusader, but has involved into a bubble-headed bleach blondewho is a mouthpiece for the GOP establishment. Romney’s experience as a businessman does not necessarily mean he will excel in economic issues, if elected president. It is because he not only represents the GOP country club establishment, but he lives it. One can also see a problem with Romney and economic issues when one examines who his economic advisers are in this election campaign. They are remnants of GW Bush’s failed domestic policies that began the horrible recession we are experiencing know and continues to get worse because of Obama.

I foresee that the GOP establishment and Romney will end up increasing payroll taxes, cutting social security benefits by delaying retirement age even further, as well as changing the Social Security benefit formula to the effect of one-third of what it is now. Of course, this would not solve the problem with the Social Security funding, because they are ignoring why Social Security funds are bankrupt – Congress has used money that was supposed to be a “trust” fund, never used for anything else but Social Security. Remember when Clinton bragged about “surplus” funds? If that were true, those funds should have been put into the Social Security trust fund to replace that which was taken; but instead it was those funds that was included to make it look like there was a budget surplus. Besides, how can any government have a surplus when there is still a national debt? Unfortunately, too many Americans didn’t think of it in that way.

Mitt Romney is doing pretty much the same thing when he falsely brags of how he saved the auto industry.
What needs to be done now is change the Social Security accounts into personal accounts rather than increasing the eligible retirement age – each person would determine what age they retire because they would have the choice of using the funds for private investing. Which means they must have enough in that fund in order to retire and live on benefit checks for the rest of their lives. Many will choose to work longer to ensure that they have more in their retirement accounts (which is their funds and can be passed on when they die to beneficiaries); which will mean that their retirement income checks will be bigger and they can live comfortably in their aging years.
All the good ideas of good government and the ideology of Ronald Reagan who was once a Democrat until he saw their progression towards socialism; is too sophisticated and has too much common sense for RINOs like Romney and the establishment that leads him around by a nose ring.
GOP Establishment Don’t Learn From Mistakes
More Americans want to prosper again and make more decisions without interference from do-gooders in Washington. They are sick of the liberal-sociocrats who think they can live their lives for them. Clinton stated publicly that most Americans do not have the responsibility to manage their Social Security funds – and no one was enraged, nor did the media pick up on that public remark.
Newt Gingrich may have had some kinks along the path of his career, but he would have been a better pick than Mitt Romney and would also have the ammunition and know-how to stand up against the Barack Obama political propaganda machine. The same can be said of Ron Paul.
If Romney actually gets the presidential win in November of 2012, America will once again be disappointed because they were forced to vote for the lesser evil. America’s future will remain in dire straits, it will just take longer with Romney than it would with Obama. But the disappointment will be equal.
The more Mitt Romney talks the less I like him or believe he is sincere, and the media has more fodder against him.
America doesn’t need Obama nor does it need Romney as President of the United States — they need someone who actually acts upon what needs to be done to reform the republic created as a more perfect union by our founders, not what the establishment has created with the grace of apathetic voters. America also needs the same caliber of men and women in Congress, for despite opinions, a good president can’t get anything done with a good old boy legislation and who doesn’t represent good statesmanship. Time to Wake Up America!
Shake the foundation of the GOP and Democrat establishment — support Ron Paul! He is the only candidate that sticks to the policy of individualism, pro-growth (gold standard, etc) and hope he gets the delegates to stand up against Obama for 2012.

State of Our Union: Protecting the Constitution

Those whose job it was to found America and be its first representatives of the People, operating our government by a document called the Constitution of the United States, and later its amendments known as the Bill of Rights; James Madison wrote of the huge task that lay before them as well as an historical event in human history:
In Europe, charters of liberty have been granted by power. America has set the example … of charters of power granted by liberty. This revolution in the practice of the world, may, with an honest praise, be pronounced the most triumphant epoch of its history, and the most consoling presage of its happiness. – James Madison
People are still upset about Justice Ginsburg‘s Cairo, Egypt comments she made last month, and if there were concerns about the safeguarding of our rights and liberties, as well as the imposing of constitutional law that our government be limited in its powers – it is more so now combined with President Obama and members of Congress who do not respect the wisdom of the historical document.

Mark Steyn wrote:

Finding herself with a bit of time on her hands, Justice Ginsburg swung by Cairo last month to help out the lads from the Muslim Brotherhood building the new Egypt: ‘I would not look to the United States Constitution if I were drafting a constitution in the year 2012,’ she advised them. Instead, she recommended the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms and the European Convention on Human Rights. That’s why the fate of the republic will come down to a 5-4 vote. Because four-ninths of the constitutional court think the American constitutional order is as déclassé as a 2006 BlackBerry. … [I]f the establishment wants to invent a new ‘right’ — i.e., yet another intrusion by government — it goes ahead and does so. If it happens to conflict with this year’s constitution, they rewrite it. The United States is the only Western nation in which our rulers invoke the Constitution for the purpose of overriding it — or, at any rate, torturing its language beyond repair. Thus, in [the] debate on whether Obamacare is merely the latest harmless evolution of the interstate-commerce clause, the most learned and highly remunerated jurists in the land chewed over the matter of whether a person, simply by virtue of being born, was participating in a ‘market.’ Had George III shown up at the Constitutional Convention to advance that argument with a straight face, the framers would have tossed aside the quill feathers and reached for their muskets.
One of the most important duties of the President of the United States is nominating qualified, constitutional-minded justices from a pick of best judges across America. One of the most important duties of Congress is to approve that nomination, based upon the same principles – without concern of political ideology, but focused upon protecting and compliance with the Constitution of the United States. “Stacking” the Supreme Court has seemed to be normal government procedure since the days of Woodrow Wilson. It has affected our lives more than most people realize.
SirWinston Churchill praised America for its constitution and form of democracy – a republic. He also warned President Franklin D. Rooseveltabout trusting the “ally” Josef Stalin, who had, before being double-crossed by the fascist-Nazi Adolf Hitler, planned to carve and share Europe between the two nations – Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union Socialist Republic. But, much to many astonished Americans, especially those in government, FDR admired Stalin and even nicknamed him “Uncle Joe”. He admired the order of socialism and was naïve about the next step of socialism – communism, and its evils. He had allied America with a man just as evil as Hitler, but who didn’t use ovens to rid the evidence of genocide.
We have since then slowly evolved into thinking that other forms of government are better or that we need to combine the principles of another government into that of our republic – and they are gravely mistaken.
Political analyst, Michael Barone wrote of the impending decision the Supreme Court must make concerning the so-called ObamaCare mandate:
Liberal commentators were shocked this past week when in three days of oral argument in the lawsuits challenging Obamacare, five Supreme Court justices — a majority — asked questions strongly suggesting they think the legislation is unconstitutional. … [T]he justices are not the only federal officials who take an oath to uphold the Constitution. So do the president and vice president, Cabinet members and other appointees, and every member of Congress. … That means that every federal official has an obligation to act in line with the Constitution as he or she understands it. And that doesn’t necessarily mean obeying Supreme Court decisions. … Clearly the two parties are divided on the constitutionality of the Obamacare mandate. Polls have shown large majorities of voters think the provision is unconstitutional, though one can wonder whether many have given the matter much thought. But they’re certainly giving it more thought after this week and will likely give it more when the decision comes down. Voters can reasonably ask candidates for Congress their views on this and other constitutional issues and call on them to vote against measures they consider beyond Congress’ constitutional powers.
Calling today’s left-thinking politicians and their followers “liberals” has demeaned the word. Indeed, the American political left has so diminished the original term “liberal” – they have chosen to use another word to describe themselves: “progressive”. Their view of progression is toward some Americanized version of socialism taking place in Europe, and the ideology and commentary coming from the highest court of America, the Supreme Court, shows how far we are “progressing” towards the long established goal of socialism and more powers given to the government and less to the people. For the government, those elite that operate it, in the eyes of progressives, is the all-knowing group of selected individuals who have more of an idea how the American people should run their lives. President Bill Clinton said so publicly, concerning the option of privatizing the Social Security program and providing Americans with a choice and more control over their own retirement needs. Clinton was another president who was unconstitutional, as well as GW Bush to a lesser degree. All promised reform, but all we got is a severe case of economic disaster because people didn’t listen to economic experts and sincere members of Congress who warned and were concerned about the detrimental powers of the Federal Reserve Bank. In addition, because members of Congress and the administration of the executive branch, do not want the business-as-usual atmosphere in Washington, DC to change too drastically – thus the reason why the tax reform system is still not reformed and fixed. Tyrants do not give up their power easily.
Just as Ronald Reaganwarned America in the 1980s, so did Dr. Ron Paul. But no one listened. They did not pull this ideology out of their hats, but echoed the warnings of Thomas Jeffersonwhen he said:
I place economy among the first and most important virtues, and public debt as the greatest of dangers to be feared. To preserve our independence, we must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt.
Instead of admiring and listening to these warnings, those that want “Change” towards socialism, which will surely end up with despotism and the ruin of our republic, they people like those mentioned in the paragraph above, like they were fools or misguided thinkers.
No. They are right on the money.
Our success as a nation was not by copying the forms of government elsewhere, but to establish a democratic republic, whose founders saw that pure democracywas just as inefficient and detrimental as monarchy and socialism propagated by Karl Marxinto communism.
This is the real task before us: to reassert our commitment as a nation to a law higher than our own, to renew our spiritual strength. Only by building a wall of such spiritual resolve can we, as a free people, hope to protect our own heritage and make it someday the birthright of all men.
As our founders were, Mr. Reagan was a visionary and his honesty and integrity inspired many, like Ron Paul. Yet, too many American people listen to the bias propaganda of the mainstream media, who truly determines who gets the “popular vote” in primary elections – an important process that is supposed to put the best qualified candidate in the running race of the office of the President of the United States.
Of course, politicians have abused our trust as well as their position and over a period of time, as we can see today – it is the People who suffer the most. Yet, as President Harry Truman stated:
The buck stops here.
Meaning, ultimately, it is We the People who allowed it to happen; therefore it is We the People that must persevere to make those we elect to operate our government to abide by, follow, and protect the Constitution of the United States.
As Alan Keyesstated so well:
We won’t change the abuses until we reform the attitude that produces them.
Alan Keyes is another example of how the media decides who gets fair public notice (in a positive or objective way) and those they pick become the “popular” vote in “polls” that have been electronically rigged. Alan Keyes ran for president in 1996 after serving as an ambassador and in 1983, President Ronald Reagan appointed him an ambassador to the United Nations Economic and Social Council until 1987. Outspoken, it is said he caused controversy while at the UN. No doubt he saw the hypocrisy and corruption while serving there. Ronald Reagan spoke up for Alan Keyes during a fundraiser for Keyes’ senate campaign. In 1987 he was appointed a resident scholar for the American Enterprise Institute. His principal research for AEI was diplomacy, international relations, and self-government. After his government service, Ambassador Keyes was President of Citizens Against Government Waste (CAGW) from 1989 to 1991 and also founded CAGW’s National Taxpayers’ Action Day. In the 1984 US delegation to the World Population Conference in Mexico City, Keyes was selected by Reagan as a deputy chairman. During those negotiations the Mexico City Policy was formed to withhold federal funds from international organizations that support abortion. Keyes also fought against Arab-backed UN resolution calling for investigation of Israeli settlements. Reagan also appointed Keyes to represent the US at the 1985 Women’s Conference in Nairobi and during his time at the US Department of State, Keyes defended the Reagan policy of not imposing economic sanctions on South Africa as punishment for apartheid. As Keyes stated at the time:

I see the black people in South Africa as the most critical positive factor for eliminating apartheid and building the future of that country. … And that is not something you do with rhetoric, slogans, and non-involvement. It’s not something you achieve through disinvestment. i

It is a dangerous concept that men of the armed forces must owe their primary allegiance to these temporary occupants of The White House, instead of to the country and the Constitution to which they have sworn to defend.–General Douglas MacArthur (1880 – 1964)

Salute to a Visionary and a Great American – To Emulate

There are those who have openly and publicly proclaimed that our Constitution is outdated. Apparently they do not understand the Constitution and those that designed it, for that is why amendments were added and the rules set for changing, repealing or adding amendments was included – for the Founders had wisdom enough to know that times would change and our Constitution, if not applicable or required an additional amendment, it could be so by two-thirds of the vote of Congress and ratified by a majority of the states.

When a Supreme Court Justice openly, on foreign television interview, disavows her pledge to uphold the Constitution and protect it and when a president and members of Congress choose to not only ignore the Constitution, but devise ways around it or change it without the two-thirds majority vote and ratification required – America and its People are in trouble.
Americans today are spending more time scrutinizing the private lives of the founders, not out of curiosity or for the sake of true history, but to slander their names so they can go forward with their progression towards socialism and worse. Our nation was once a model to follow for all nations, and that was the concept of the origination of the United Nations – which has presided the United States progression towards corruption and immoral power. Yet, we still cling to the atrocity it has become. We cannot and should not give in to those that would destroy our Constitution, its traditions and values, or allow its society to become corrupted by a minority that is fast growing in ranks because of ignorance or children raised in public schools to believe what the government has instructed to teach. We are no longer ruled by a majority, but are at the mercy of the powerful minority in government – the “establishment” of good old boys who wish to keep their status quo no matter what the consequences are for the People and the future of our great nation.
Like the Founders, there have been great leaders in America – from governors to the President of the United States, but few can be compared to the original founders, like George Washing, Thomas Jefferson and John Adams and others.

I present to you a video below that is taken from speeches made by another great American, a man of vision, and who saw the crooked road ahead; yet still could handle the issues at hand in the present term. His name was Ronald Reagan, and I will confess to you that I admired him but didn’t appreciate him enough while he served two terms in the Oval Office. He was a man of vision, a man with a down-home sense of humor that even made his political opponents and the negative media laugh and like him. I was serving my country in the United States Army, admired him for his support and true caring for the troops who swore allegiance to him as our Commander-in-Chief as well as to the People of the United States of America; and while it is no excuse not to have kept up on as much as I should have of what was going on back home, it is difficult when serving overseas.

So, for you younger generations, who seem not to have heroes like my generation, I present this video to you and as a reminder that the road that lies ahead depends upon YOU and ME – that means we should choose more carefully and with open eyes and open mind who operates our government for US – from the city council to the President of the United States, we must guard our liberties, our individualism and all the other rights that was provided in writing by wise men who long ago created a nation like no other nation in the history of civilization. Here is the video:

If this does not inspire and convince you that the People of this nation, from all walks of life, every race, creed, color, gender, and age – then I am sorry for you, but We the People must move on past your ignorance and refusal to search for the truth in a sea of misinformation that those who would take away those liberties and rights that so many worked hard for, some lost material things, and others gave the ultimate sacrifice – their lives.
Words from a speech given by Ronald Reagan
