What It Will Take To See True Reformation?

Save the Republic Several times I have pointed out that if the People want to reform government and return to constitutional law, society needs to reform itself first.
Jeff Jacoby wrote in How Unborn Babies Become ‘Clinical Waste’ , this revelation comes from The Telegraph in UK, but it certainly applies here in the US who have adopted socialist statism over what used to be the best system of government ever in human history …

“The bodies of thousands of aborted and miscarried babies were incinerated as clinical waste, with some even used to heat hospitals, an investigation has found. Ten [National Health Service] trusts have admitted burning fetal remains alongside other rubbish while two others used the bodies in ‘waste-to-energy’ plants which generate power for heat. . . . At least 15,500 fetal remains were incinerated by 27 NHS trusts over the last two years alone, Channel 4’s ‘Dispatches’ discovered.”
At Addenbrooke’s, a hospital in Cambridge, England, the fetuses from 797 miscarriages and abortions were burned in a facility designed to generate electricity and heat. …

From a strictly utilitarian point of view, why not? Not only did the hospital save £18.50 per cremation, it helped cut energy costs as well. It doesn’t make any difference to the fetus how it’s disposed of. Why should it make a difference to us? The answer used to be self-evident: Human beings are more than mere flesh, more than just one organism among all other organisms. Death doesn’t transform us into “clinical waste,” suitable for recycling or fueling an industrial heating system. …
But we live a dehumanizing age. Our culture makes it easy to scoff at the quaint notion that in every human being is a spark of something divine. … The same influential thinker argues that there is nothing inherently wrong with breeding children in order to harvest their organs, or with permitting disabled infants to be killed for up to a month after birth. Anything can be rationalized, including the money-saving convenience of heating hospitals with dead fetuses. Our humaneness is rarely more than a thin veneer, and it takes less effort than most of us realize to peel it off, releasing the barbarism beneath.

Obama Speaks Up About Trayvon Martin – And Information Jury Knew Becomes Public

BH Obama released a written statement concerning the verdict of the George Zimmerman trial and it is a statement that reflects that this president is not concerned about a nation divided, if he did he would not have made his “If I had a son” statement. Now he calls for people to accept the verdict, while his DOJ is seeking ways to enact revenge, requested by the racial organization of NAACP [founded by Mary “White” Ovington] …

And in the wake of the verdict, I know those passions may be running even higher. But we are a nation of laws, and a jury has spoken. I now ask every American to respect the call for calm reflection from two parents who lost their young son.

Taxes Upon Taxes and More Taxes

For example. If the system be established on basis of Income, and his just proportion on that scale has been already drawn from every one, to step into the field of Consumption, and tax special articles in that, as broadcloth or homespun, wine or whiskey, a coach or a wagon, is doubly taxing the same article. For that portion of Income with which these articles are purchased, having already paid its tax as Income, to pay another tax on the thing it purchased, is paying twice for the same thing; it is an aggrievance on the citizens who use these articles in exoneration of those who do not, contrary to the most sacred of the duties of a government, to do equal and impartial justice to all its citizens. Thomas Jefferson – letter to Joseph Milligan, 6 April 1816

For all the talk about Democrats seeking economic solutions by raising taxes, the Republicans have shown too many times their hypocrisy. When the Republicans gain majority in Congress – they never take advantage of it to institute true government reform. It is because they are just a lesser evil in the political establishment that has permeated the hallowed walls of our capital buildings in Washington, DC for far too long.

Excessive taxation…will carry reason and reflection to every man’s door, and particularly in the hour of election.
Thomas Jefferson
We the People – with the power of the vote – are the initial blame. Which means American society must fix it self before it expects its government to reform.
Every government degenerates when trusted to the rulers of the people alone. The people themselves, therefore, are its only safe depositories. And to render them safe, their minds must be improved to a certain degree.
Thomas Jefferson, 1782
Taxes are to be raised and the alleged “limit government, size and scope” political crowd that makes up the establishment of Republicans – Republicans are advocating sales tax on Internet sales, detracting why people shop the Internet instead of driving to a store for purchase: to save money.
Several Republican governors are pushing for Internet sales tax on purchases from online retailers, which include the successful Amazon and eBay, in order to compensate for their state’s irresponsible spending. It is a testament that it is government, too much of it, that makes our lives miserable and creates inflation. Indeed, here in Wisconsin we had a tax crazed governor, Jim Doyle, who raised state fees 38% – title transfer costs were $45 increased to $69.70. All during a severe economic depression.
Despite Governor Scott Walker‘s success at curbing spending, he has not even attempted to rescind all of parts of the biggest tax hike in Wisconsin history that Doyle and company instituted in the amount of $1 billion. In addition, Governor Walker did not advocate rescinding the unconstitutional state law that forces private businesses to enforce the smoking ban law whether they want to or not – in restaurants, taverns, and motels/hotels. Before they had sectioned off their businesses to non-smoking and smoking sections or rooms in the case of hotels and motels; but this wasn’t good enough for those who seek to control other citizens’ lives. Private property rights took another step towards nullification in our constitutional republic, formerly so.
The way our Constitution’s framers used the term, a right is something that exists simultaneously among people and imposes no obligation on another. For example, the right to free speech, or freedom to travel, is something we all simultaneously possess. My right to free speech or freedom to travel imposes no obligation upon another except that of noninterference. In other words, my exercising my right to speech or travel requires absolutely nothing from you and in no way diminishes any of your rights. Contrast that vision of a right to so-called rights to medical care, food or decent housing, independent of whether a person can pay. Those are not rights in the sense that free speech and freedom of travel are rights. If it is said that a person has rights to medical care, food and housing, and has no means of paying, how does he enjoy them? There’s no Santa Claus or Tooth Fairy who provides them… So-called rights to medical care, food and decent housing impose an obligation on some other American who, through the tax code, must be denied his right to his earnings. In other words, when Congress gives one American a right to something he didn’t earn, it takes away the right of another American to something he did earn… Three-fifths to two-thirds
of the federal budget consists of taking property from one American and giving it to another. Were a private person to do the same thing, we’d call it theft. When government does it, we euphemistically call it income redistribution… Income redistribution not only betrays the founders’ vision, it’s a sin in the eyes of God. I’m guessing that when God gave Moses the Eighth Commandment, ‘Thou shalt not steal,’ I’m sure he didn’t mean ‘thou shalt not steal unless there was a majority vote in Congress’.
Walter Williams
And, who is leading this new taxation? New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, who is scheduled to deliver an address at the Republican National Convention in Tampa in August. I am sure he won’t be talking about raising taxes.

Anyone who’s ever filed a tax return or visited the Department of Motor Vehicles understands that government does two things well: spend our money and waste our time.
Ed Fuelner

Another factor in this movement is something that people don’t usually realize – when government taxes something, it usually gains control in other ways. The Internet is the last bastion of freedom against the tyranny of Big Government and democratic-socialists.
Every time we talk about these taxes we get around to the idea of ‘from each according to his capacity and to each according to his needs’. That’s socialism. It’s written into the Communist Manifesto. Maybe we ought to see that every person who gets a tax return receives a copy of the Communist Manifesto with it so he can see what’s happening to him.
T. Coleman Andrews
Presently, states can only impose sales tax on businesses located in that state. Customers who purchase merchandise from another state do not pay that state’s sales tax.
Using the sociocrat “fairness” rhetoric, Governor Christie, who is grossly overweight, joins other greedy politicians who join Democrats in the belief that instead of producing a responsible budget, the citizens must continually pay more in order to meet the demands of their irresponsible spending.
Four years of an economic crisis has definitely caused suffering across America and problems for state governments. Many governments earnestly have been seeking positive solutions that are viable and based upon common sense, Governor Christie is one of them. But this Internet issue is an example of how politicians refuse to reduce their budgets in lieu of stealing more money from taxpayers. Worse, many governors when campaigning for office pledged NOT to raise taxes.
Bills being pushed in Congress to allow states to collect online sales are troubling, and not simply because of the $23 billion it could raise in new revenues. The Internet sales tax would dissolve the physical nexus standard for tax collection, allowing tax administrators to reach well across their borders for new revenue. We’ve grappled with states burdening non-residents with their tax codes once before – it was called taxation without representation.
Politicians refuse to tighten their belts in budgeting, but instead continually insist that the rest of America tighten their budgets so the politicians can continue their spending habits. It is a path that leads to nowhere except financial disaster. Imagine if American workers could go to their employers and tell them that their spending has increased for whatever reason and demand an increase in wages and salaries? That is exactly what those operating our government, federal and state, are doing – but in this case they have the power to not ask for it, but take it.
The collection of taxes which are not absolutely required, which do not beyond reasonable doubt contribute to the public welfare, is only a species of legalized larceny. The wise and correct course to follow in taxation is not to destroy those who havealready secured success, but to create conditions under which everyone will have abetter chance to be successful.
This is why there is such a big movement to go to the flat tax system, where politicians will be forced to budget according to the amount of taxation received, as well as rid Americans of the tyranny of the IRA and a tax code system that cannot be increased without a two-thirds majority vote in Congress. In addition, citizens will not have to spend money just filing a yearly set of forms in order to comply with the tax code – for in a flat tax system, there are no deductions, and if the income tax system continues, a one-page form that does not require “tax experts” to fill out and charge you for their service.
Think about it. Call your senators and representatives and let them know We the People are sick of their shenanigans and irresponsible behavior in operating OUR government.
Think Constitution. Think constitutional republic. Think responsible legislation and government operations. Think freedom and liberty – freedom of choice and the private property rights.

Obama (and Friends) File: Sparking Racism in Election Year

Trayvon Martin, age 12
It seems that the information as well as the pictures of Trayvon Martin have been misleading … pictures show him 12 years of age; however, certain reports state at time of death he was 17 years old. It seems the media in the United States is not very reliable in getting information to the American people. They may have the rights of the First Amendment, but they certainly do not have the rights to use that power by not reporting objectively and providing only one side of a story – in this case a political race card.

According to the latest report, the shooter has not been arrested yet – could it be that Trayvon did indeed have a weapon and not just a bag of Skittles? Who knows at this point.

The alleged victim was not as clean as the media information gave us – sifted information and research used as a basis for writing my opinion. But that isn’t relevant unless it has to do with the night he was killed.

This is an update concerning the political race-card tactics of Barack H. Obama, using any method available and what he can get away with to get reelected and the shooting death of Trayvon Martin. Of course, the mainstream media is eating this stuff up – always there to help the Left …
Mark Alexander, Patriot Post, wrote on March 29th, 2012:
Barack Hussein Obama and black leaders from across the nation gathered in Obama’s hometown of Chicago this week to protest the violence that occurred over the weekend of March 17-18.According to the Chicago Sun-Times, in just 48 hours, 10 people were murdered and at least 40 others were seriously injured. Most of the victims were 15-30 years of age and the assailants were black or Latino. One victim was six-year-old Aliyah Shell, who was shot to death while playing on the front porch of her home in the Little Village neighborhood.OK, truth be told, Obama and black leaders from across the nation haven’t said a word about all of the violence in Chicago, opting instead to maintain the “code of silence which impedes solutions.”

However, Barack and his cadres of race-hustlinguseful idiotsarerallying black voters with a fresh Florida race bait lure, specifically using the death of Trayvon Martin, age 17, as political fodder to keep their most loyal constituency confined to the Democrat Party Plantation. Indeed, the “black vote” is key to the Left’s divide-and-conquerstrategy given that more than 90 percent of black voters support Democrats. Indeed, were it not for this monolithic support, the Democrat Party would be hard-pressed to win a single statewide election — much less a presidential election.Martin was shot and killed after an altercation with a Neighborhood Watch volunteer, George Zimmerman, a registered Democrat. Zimmerman has been identified in media reports as “white-Hispanic,” promoting race-bait claims of a hate crime. The details of the incident have not been fully disclosed, though the Sanford Police department has released an incident report and ABC News has compiled a timeline of events. According to Zimmerman’s attorney and witnesses, “George was attacked by Trayvon Martin on that evening.”nobody on either side of the public debate about this incident has enough information to draw any conclusions. The herd of useful idiots are growing louder because, under Florida’s “stand your ground” self-defense laws, Zimmerman has not been arrested — and the protesters presume him guilty until proven innocent. And as Rahm Emanuel said back when he was still Obama’s left-hand man, “Never let a serious crisis go to waste.”Predictably, Obama, the consummate “white-black” community agitator weighed in the same week he held silent following the Chicago violence: “When I think about this boy I think about my own kids. If I had a son, he’d look like Trayvon. … It is absolutely imperative that we investigate every aspect of this and everybody pulls together, federal state and local, to figure out exactly how this tragedy happened.”
Florida DemoRep Frederica Wilson protested, “Trayvon Martin’s murderer is still at large. It’s been one month, 30 days, with no arrest. I want America to see this sweet young boy who was hunted down like a dog, shot in the street, and his killer is still at large.” Wilson displayed a photo of an 11-year old Martin, looking a lot less menacing than the 17-year-old hooded Martin. According to reports about Martin’s suspensions and juvenile record, it turns out he wasn’t such a “sweet young boy,” but a too-typical product of the now-generational inner-city cultural entropy that turns young children from great futures to sociopathic behavior.
Bobby Rush Panther Members
Bobby Rush (D-Chicago), a former Black Panther himself, was escorted off the floor of the House of Representatives for protesting Martin’s death by wearing a hoodie, now symbolic of “justice for Martin,” but, nonetheless, a violation of House rules on decorum. You know things aren’t going well for the once-noble Democrat Party when its titular head resorts to the lowest form of demagoguery — race baiting.Obama and his histrionic sycophants are taking a page from his community-agitating political prophet, Saul Alinsky, author of “Rules for Radicals.” …it is a book on how to use tragedy for political gain: “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it. The opposition must be singled out as the target and ‘frozen.’ … One acts decisively only in the conviction that all the angels are on one side and all the devils on the other.”
Saul Alinsky, Obama Political Mentor
As a community agitator, Obama practices Alinsky’s maxim to “first rub raw the resentments of the people of the community; fan the latent hostilities of many of the people to the point of overt expression. He must search out controversy and issues, rather than avoid them, for unless there is controversy people are not concerned enough to act. An organizer must stir up dissatisfaction and discontent.” … Mikhail Muhammad, leader of the New Black Panther Party (the same thugs that the Obama Justice Department refused to prosecute in an open-and-shut felony voter intimidation case in Philadelphia in 2008) sounded as if he’d received his marching orders from Obama’s spiritual mentor, Jeremiah “GD America” Wright. Muhammad insisted, “It’s time for us as black men to take justice in our own hands. If the government won’t do the job, we’ll do it.”
Muhammad and his followers actually placed a $10,000 reward for the capture of Zimmerman, claiming, “According to the street people’s law he has been charged with murder. … I don’t follow the white man’s law. … They have killed millions of black men and women. … We represent millions of black people … not white people and ‘Uncle Tom’ Negroes.”
Al Sharpton
Of course, no race-bait banquet would be complete without Al Sharpton on hand with Martin’s mother, Sybrina Fulton, proclaiming with all the simulated sincerity he could muster, “Trayvon could have been any one of our sons. Trayvon could have been any one of us. We are tired of going to jail for nothing and others going home for something. Zimmerman should have been arrested that night. Don’t talk to us like we’re stupid! Don’t talk to us like we’re ignorant! Lock him up! We cannot allow a legal precedent to be established in this city that tells us it is legal for a man to kill us, tell any story he wants, and walk out with the murder weapon.” …
As a result of threats, Zimmerman and his family have had to abandon their home and go into hiding. Additionally, Hollywonk producer Spike Lee, who recently raised $1.6 million at an Obama fundraiser in his house, tweeted, “reach out and touch Zimmerman,” to his 240,000 followers. Unfortunately, he errantly posted the address of an elderly couple as Zimmerman’s, and that couple is now also under threat.
George Zimmerman
There is no evidence from anyone who knew Zimmerman well that he had any racist predilection. In fact, just the opposite — Zimmerman and his wife mentored several young black children. Zimmerman’s attorney noted, “When I asked this mother [of those children], and she’s an African-American, if she trusted George Zimmerman, she said she did, and I asked her if there was anything that caused her to believe that he was a racist, and she said, ‘Absolutely not.'”
Further, Joe Oliver, a family friend of Zimmerman’s and an island of reason amid a sea of racist turmoil, said, “I’m a black male and all that I know is that George has never given me any reason whatsoever to believe he has anything against people of color. All these people who are threatening George, what makes them any better than the person they think he is?
To that end, my colleague Walter E. Williams, in an essay entitled “Profiling,” notes, “The former Charleston, S.C., black chief of police, Reuben Greenberg, said the problem facing black America is not racial profiling. He said, ‘The greatest problem in the black community is the tolerance for high levels of criminality.’ Former Los Angeles black police Chief Bernard Parks, defending racial profiling, said: ‘It’s not the fault of the police when they stop minority males or put them in jail. It’s the fault of the minority males for committing the crime. In my mind, it is not a great revelation that if officers are looking for criminal activity, they’re going to look at the kind of people who are listed on crime reports.’ Are former police Chiefs Greenberg and Parks racist?”
Walter E. Williams
On the institutionalization of crime, Williams notes further, “Crime is one of the results of the liberal agenda. Blacks are 13 percent of the population but are more than 50 percent of murder victims. About 95 percent of black homicide victims had a black person as their murderer.”
Regarding the Democrat Party plantation, Williams writes, “During the 1960s, academic liberals and hustling politicians told us that to deal with crime, we had to deal with its ‘root causes,’ poverty and discrimination. Thomas Sowell has pointed out that in 1960, the total number of murders in the United States was lower than in 1950, 1940 and 1930, even though our population had grown and two new states had been added. The liberal agenda, coupled with courts granting criminals new rights, later caused the murder rate to double, and the rates of other violent crimes also began to skyrocket. Crime imposes a hefty tax on law-abiding residents of black neighborhoods. Residents bear costs of having to shop outside of their neighborhoods; criminals have driven many businesses out. Children can’t play safely in front of their homes. Fearing robberies, taxi drivers, including black drivers, often refuse to accept telephone calls for home pickups and frequently pass black customers by on the street. Neighborhood property values are lower as a result of crime. Plus, there’s the insult associated with not being able to receive pizza or other deliveries on the same terms as people in other neighborhoods.”
Thomas Sowell
Indeed, in “Race and Rhetoric,” Sowell also notes, “The poverty rate among blacks was nearly cut in half in the 20 years prior to the 1960s, a record unmatched since then, despite the expansion of welfare state policies in the 1960s. Not only was unemployment among blacks in general lower before the liberal welfare state policies expanded in the 1960s, rates of imprisonment of blacks were also lower then, and most black children were raised in two-parent families. At one time, a higher percentage of blacks than whites were married and working. None of these facts fits liberal social dogmas.” …
The real crime, according to former Garland, Texas, NAACP leader C.L. Bryant, is “exploiting” the Trayvon Martin tragedy to “racially divide this country. His family should be outraged at the fact that they’re using this child as the bait to inflame racial passions.” …
Meanwhile, there’s a long and heartbreaking backlog of horrendous black-on-white hate crimes that continue to receive no national attention. Just one case in point would be the brutal torture, mutilation and murder of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom by four black men in Knoxville, Tennessee — a crime that has been subject to a near-complete “media blackout.”

Ben Shapiro wrote:

The facts of the Trayvon Martin case are still unclear. But that hasn’t stopped the all-knowing, all-seeing President Obama from voicing his opinion of the situation. “You know,” said Obama, “if I had a son, he’d look like Trayvon. All of us have to do some soul-searching to figure out how does something like this happen.” Leave aside the fact that Obama’s race is completely irrelevant to the situation — when French Jews were killed in Toulouse last week, Joe Lieberman didn’t see fit to announce that those Jews looked like his relatives. Leave aside the media’s insane portrayal of Trayvon as a saint, despite his record of graffiti, probable jewelry theft and violence, and drug possession. Leave aside the fact that while Obama’s theoretical son may have looked like Trayvon at age 12, he would likely look nothing like Trayvon at age 17, what with the tattoos and gold grill. … Obama implies that we all share some collective guilt for Trayvon’s killing. And this is a favorite tactic of the left: We all created the “climate” that led Trayvon Martin to bang George Zimmerman’s head on the pavement and led George Zimmerman to shoot Trayvon point blank. … It gives leeway for congressmen to invite Trayvon’s parents to the Hill to pander to minority members of Congress about Florida’s “stand your ground law” — a law that had nothing to do with the killing if Zimmerman is really as guilty as his opponents suggest, and a law that may have saved Zimmerman’s life if the situation went down as Zimmerman and witnesses suggest. But, of course, none of this actually has to do with Trayvon Martin’s death. The death was either the fault of Zimmerman or Martin or both. It wasn’t the fault of my 82-year-old Jewish grandmother recovering from eye surgery. It had nothing to do with the Vietnamese family in Downtown Los Angeles trying to keep a grocery running. … But as Rahm Emanuel might put it, in every tragic death lies a liberal opportunity. … Which truly means that the left doesn’t care about the individual bad acts. President Obama’s rhetorical flourish was far more than a rhetorical flourish. It was an active attempt to change the narrative, to magnify the Trayvon situation into an “America is racist, and you’re part of it” meme. What’s the cure for that ill? Why, voting for every liberal line item, including the Obama re-election, of course! … Obama’s words are an injustice. They are unjust to Martin and Zimmerman, who deserve a full factual inquiry rather than racial grandstanding. They are unjust to the Florida police, whose jobs are complicated by having to worry about national unrest over this individual case. And most of all, they are unjust to Americans, who have nothing whatsoever to do with Martin’s death — but whom Obama can milk for political gain so long as he blames them at large for every bad act under the sun.

Barack Hussein Obama alias Barry Soetoro, wasn’t qualified to be a senator much less a president. His background and associations with the criminal element and radical socialist-racists alone should have made Americans wary. It was because too many Americans voted for him because of his race. If former General Powell would have ran for office of the President of the United States, I would most likely have voted for him, he already passed muster for his character, I would have wanted to study his views on certain subjects. It wouldn’t be because he was my general officer when I served in the Persian Gulf War (Operation Desert Storm) or that his skin pigmentation was darker than mine. It would have been because of his qualifications.
Barack Obama, age 17
As far as BH Obama’s comments (“If I had a son he would look like Trayvon) – picture left shows what Obama’s son would look like.

We don’t need to continually fan the flames of racism in America. This is the 21st century – it should have been left behind on New Years Eve, 1999 (long before that actually). We should be looking at Martin’s death as a tragic death caused by a bad person. One American adult killing another young American. We will never be united as a people in this nation otherwise.

As the oceans begin to recede, and Pharaoh’s army gets swallowed by the Red Sea, we should pause to thank the man who gave us this moment. Having declared Iraq a lost cause over a year ago, Obama was surprised to see the surge work so well in Iraq. So like most politicians who see something work, he decided to get some surge of his own. Having opposed Iraq, Obama’s surge logically will go to Afghanistan, the only war still convenient to the US under his administration. Between Koran burning, bungled planning from the administration and Obama’s King Pyrrhus act, we’ve made such progress now in Afghanistan that we’re at the point of getting kicked out. The Afghans would rather live under the Taliban than live under the failed Obama surge strategy. … We can add those bodies to the US count racked up in Libya, Egypt and -coming soon- Syria, possibly the biggest killing field of all thanks to new surge strategies from the administration. But perhaps the biggest healing is the healing that has been going on at home in the US where the strategy from Democrats includes a class warfare surge and a race warfare surge that is contributing considerably to the outbreak of Sudden Obama Healing Syndrome. And it’s also obscuring Obama’s horrid track record on: 1) the economy; 2) energy; 3) anything that doesn’t involve vacations. … I don’t know the ins and outs of the Trayvon Martin case, and nor do you. … It’s very important the he look impartial (wink). And that the Feds end up as the only ones with guns. … Let’s pretend it was Newt Gingrich who said the same thing: “If Obama had a son, he’d look like Trayvon.” … They’re there to fan the flames of more racial healing via the Critical Race Theory that Obama asked us to open our minds and hearts to. … In wake of the president’s inflammatory remarks, the New Black Panther Party offered some more healing words backed by m-o-n-e-y. “Members of the New Black Panther Party are offering a $10,000 reward for the ‘capture’ of George Zimmerman, the Neighborhood Watch volunteer who shot Trayvon Martin,” writes the Boston Herald. … What healing! Or better yet: What healing? I guess with all this healing going on, no one wants to talk about jobs anymore.

Another campaign lie added to many others. Only promise carried out was pulling out of Iraq and ObamaCare – and we all know how bad the latter will be. Gasoline is higher now than when GW Bush was president, and it looks like the Federal Reserve and overspending is going to put us under to where prices will skyrocket so high the media will be covering food lines and other tragedies reminiscent of the 1930s. That’s the worst scenario, anyway.
Unless a president is going to stand in front of a microphone every day to announce a tragic death (and make stupid comments) – persons in that station shouldn’t be involved in civil matters such as this one, election year or not. Neither should Congress.
Congress has taken upon itself to get involved. You know where this is going to lead to – arguments against the Second Amendment rights of lawful citizens. The progressives just can’t stand for anyone to have the capability of self defense – in a real self defense situation.
It seems to me they are more concerned after the tragedy than prevention of it. For example, media reports that neighbors were complaining about the zealous “neighborhood watchman” – yet nothing was done. He did call the police and told them he was trailing a “suspicious person” – and according to 911, he was told not to do anything and wait until police arrived. The whole thing doesn’t make sense – between what the media reports of what occurred and shooting a 17-year-old. However, reports state that it was Martin who jumped Zimmerman and was banging his head on the ground. Another report is that police couldn’t find any injuries on Zimmerman.
What we should do is wait for the trial and all the evidence.
People are jumping the gun and inflaming racial animosity without proof and not affording Zimmerman constitutional rights as “innocent until proven guilty”.
See also Jonah Goldberg article entitled Playing the Race Card. He writes a statistical fact:

More whites are killed by blacks than blacks killed by whites (or “white Hispanics”). And far, far more blacks are killed by other blacks. Indeed, if we’re going to use the prism of race to analyze murder rates, then the real epidemic is that of black murderers. Heather MacDonald of the Manhattan Institute notes that recent data show black males age 14 to 24 commit homicides at a rate nearly 10 times higher than that of young white and Latino males combined. Surely that’s worthy of some soul-searching, too.

Maybe if American youth in these climate, conditions, atmosphere weren’t taught that they are racial deadbeats and that having good character, obtaining a well-rounded education, and contributing to society instead of taking from it – through old fashioned hard work – this statistic would be different. The self proclaimed “victim” syndrome needs to end. It is time to raise our children as Americans – for Americans are from everywhere else and those that are not are native Americans; who are also Americans.
Stereotyping is performed and viewed from both sides of the racial fence. Let us get over it.

Enuff said, for now.

Myth Blaster: "No Matter What" by Walter Williams

There is a chain email floating around that is attributed to Dr. Walter Williams, a distinguished economist, advocate for limited government, repealing 16th Amendment, and a syndicated columnist. He has provided good advice to Americans and served on the faculty of George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia as Professor of Economics since 1980.
The title of this article attributed to Dr. Williams is entitled “No Matter What”. There are comments from various people passing it on and as usual — “if you disagree, delete this email”.

Myth Blaster Verdict for this one is – FALSE.
It is not necessarily an intentional Hoax by the person who sent it out via chain email. Reason is, a website – RiteOnpublished it with a title of “No Matter What” on April 1st2011, and according to their apology page [PDF], under the column entitled “A Bad Dream” [PDF format] they published it without confirming its source.
You will find a rendition of the hoax column NOT written by Walter Williams and more detail as far a s the hoax by at:
Another example of people sending out chain email in flurries instead of taking the time to make sure it is legitimate.
