Now it has gone “viral” over the chain Email circuit that the 17-year-old had tattoos and looked more like a gangster than the innocent-looking youth the media presented [next to a not so good photo of Zimmerman].

Those media entities should be ashamed. There may be “Freedom of the Press” – but there ARE laws about defamation of character. It is why we do not need “hate speech” laws. If someone is wrongfully accused or disgraced in public – they have the right to sue for defamation.

Quills, Iowa passed an e-mail received concerning the Twelve Days of Christmas, which is an alleged history of the Christmas Carol. Here is the version she received:
There is one Christmas Carol that has always baffled us. What in the world do leaping lords, French hens, swimming swans, and especially the partridge who won’t come out of the pear tree have to do with Christmas? From 1558 until 1829, Roman Catholics in England were not permitted to practice their faith openly. Someone during that era wrote this carol as a catechism song for young Catholics. It has two levels of meaning: the surface meaning plus a hidden meaning known only to members of their church. Each element in the carol has a code word for a religious reality, which the children could remember.
