Sarah Palin: Constitutionalist and Patriot

Let’s talk about Sarah Palin.

CPAC Speech-2013

CPAC Speech-2013

Not the way the national corporate politically controlled media represents her, but someone who is earnest in what she believes in and someone who is more perceptive than political pundits and so-called journalists would have Americans believe. She is cannon-fodder for bloggers who think they are intellectual and savvy when it comes to American politics, but whose true form is discovered when one founds out they support and voted for BH Obama.

As I hope folks will discover, Sarah is not shy to tell the GOP establishment that they are on the wrong track and not afraid to point out RINOs despite being a member of the Republican political party. Sarah Palin is a constitutionalist AND a Patriot. A true patriot, she lives the life she portrays.

Before I begin with her biography and her accomplishments, view this speech Sarah gave at the CPAC 2013 event …

We are not here to rebrand a party, we ‘re here to rebuild a country.

bar_goldcableSarah Louise Heath [Palin] was born on February 11th, 1964 in Sandpoint, Idaho. Her father, Charles R. Heath, was a science teacher and track/field coach and her mother, Sarah Heath was a school secretary. Her ethnic heritage is English, Irish and German. Only a few months old, Sarah and family moved to Skagway, Alaska, where her father obtained a teaching job. In 1969, the Heaths relocated to Eagle River in 1969, and finally settled to Wasilla in 1972.

Sarah played flute in the junior high band and attended Wasilla High School where she became the head of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and a member of the girls’ basketball team, despite being shorter than other players. She also was a member of the cross-country running teams. By the time she reached senior year, she became co-captain and point guard of the basketball team that won the 1982 Alaska state championship, and because of her never give up and feisty character, she was awarded a nickname of Sarah Barracuda.

Sarah graduated from high school in 1982 and enrolled at the University of Hawaii. After she arrived in Hawaii, she transferred to Hawaii Pacific University in Honolulu for one semester in the fall of 1982. Then she went to North Idaho College for the spring and fall semesters of 1983. In June 2008, the Alumni Association of North Idaho College gave Sarah its Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award.

Miss Wasilla 1984

In 1984, Sarah won the Miss Wasilla beauty pageant and finished third in the Miss Alaska pageant, where she played the flute in the talent portion of the contest and received the Miss Congeniality award and a college scholarship.  She then enrolled at the University of Idaho in Moscow for an academic year, starting in August 1984, and then attended Matanuska-Susitna College in Alaska in the fall of 1985. Returning to the University of Idaho in January 1986, she received her bachelor’s degree in communications with an emphasis in journalism in May 1987.

After receiving her bachelor degree, Sarah worked as a sportscaster for KTUU-TV and KTVA-TV in Anchorage, and as a sports reporter for the Mat-Su Valley Frontiersman, which fulfilled her ambition as a youth.

On August 29th, 1988, she eloped at the age of 24 with her high school sweetheart, Todd Palin. After the birth of their first child in April of 1989, she helped her husband with his commercial fishing business.

Sarah Palin’s political career began when she was elected to the Wasilla City Council in 1992 obtaining 530 votes over her opponents 310 votes. She had been a Republican since registering in 1982.

Concerned with the issue of revenue being squandered by the incumbent mayor, Sarah ran for mayor of Wasilla in 1996 and defeated John Stein, 651-440 votes. Her biographer described her campaign as targeting wasteful spending and high taxes and introduced issues like abortion, gun rights, and term limits during the campaign. Although the election was nonpartisan, the state Republican Party saw a bright new star rising and ran advertisements for Palin; who was reelected in 1999 by 909-292 votes, and in 2002 completed the second of two consecutive terms allowed by the city charter. In 1999 she was elected president of the Alaska Conference of Mayors.

Sarah Palin_04A Documentary BIO video [click HERE] is a good biography of how she reached the level of being a candidate for Vice President of the United States running on a ticket with John McCain. In my opinion that was a mistake because McCain catered to mainstream media and is still considered a RINO, which Sarah no openly addresses today as part of the Tea Party movement. However, looking in a big picture scenario, that experience running for office of VP helped her. While not perfect, her career remained untarnished, despite mainstream media’s efforts to make her look bad – her daughter became pregnant and unwedded, the “Bridge to Nowhere” incident while governor of Alaska [liberals made a big deal of it in hypcritic fashion], but failed to commend her for selling the expensive jet the previous governor purchased with taxpayer dollars. She was also chastised for her support of allowing regulated hunting of wolves in order to increase the moose and caribou populations. In 2007, her office announced a bounty of $150 per wolf in five areas of Alaska. Wildlife activists went bonkers on that one, despite state biologists agreeing that the wolf population needed to be reduced. Alaskan voters ended the state predator control program in 2008 and Sarah Palin conceded to the will of the people.

In 2009, Sarah Palin announced she would not run for reelection as governor of Alaska after her defeat in the presidential campaign of 2008. She also stated that it was good for the office of the governor and the people of Alaska because the state had spent $2.5 million in frivolous ethics complaints filed against her, and she transferred the office of governor to Sean Parnell in Fairbanks on July 9th, 2009.

Sarah Palin_06By November of 2009, Palin released her memoir – Going Rogue: An American Life. It became one of the all-time bestsellers within two weeks. She traveled by bus to eleven states with her family to promote her book and made appearances and interviews, including Oprah Winfrey show. Her second book was released in November of 2010 entitled America By Heart. It contains excerpts from her favorite speeches, sermons, literature, and portraits of people she admires.

On February 6th, 2010, Palin appeared as a keynote speaker at the inaugural of the Tea Party convention in Nashville, Tennessee of what she described as the future of politics in America. In the middle of 2010 she launched the Pink Elephant Movement, focusing on endorsing female GOP candidates. During the months of November 2010, Palin selectively endorsed Republican candidates in her effort to weed out RINOs from the GOP and increasingly making speeches about lack of leadership in the GOP. Speculation that she would run for President in 2008 proved to be just that.

Sarah has opposed the ObamaCare health care package, same-sex marriage, and abortion. She supports capital punishment, parental consent, and the Second Amendment. She called marijuana a minimal issue and believes it should be a low priority for law enforcement, but believes it best not to become legalized. Palin supports sex education in public schools, but also encourages programs that teach abstinence along with contraception.

Sarah Palin_NRASarah Palin is a member of the NRA and supports the right of lawful citizens to defend themselves as prescribed by the Second Amendment, and opposes any ban on semi-automatic firearms. She supports firearm safety education for young people. She supports off-shore drilling and land-based drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and within the continental and territories of the United States.

Sarah Palin is a strong supporter of Israel and supports NATO membership for Ukraine and Georgia.

Sarah has a SarahPAC website of which the leftists detest because of her support of the Second Amendment after the shooting of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords in 2011.

Sarah Palin is a strong supporter of the US Constitution and its amendments and campaigns for reform back to a republic of which the Founders created so wisely.

Contrary to propaganda, Sarah Palin did not support the “Bridge to Nowhere”, and rejected it after she was elected because it was a government waste. Despite being a target of mainstream media and political socialists, she remains steadfast in working to get America back on track and back to being a constitutional republic again.

The media parasites still hound Palin looking for anything that will discredit her; yet leaves Hillary Clinton alone, despite a long history of scandals and somehow she escapes. Maybe she will not be able to escape from BenghaziGate if Congressional hearings ever get their act together.
